"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"Hotel was excellent all around, nice pool with view of ocean, room and balcony great view , clean and neat, housekeeping came in every day, owners were very friendly and helpful….. provided maps and insights into sights to visit…… Quiet and location to port, center , and some great beaches were close…… I will return…… never had a chance to sample restaurant( hotel was closing for season)……… I recommend without reservation…. "Great location and view. Steps away from the pier and close to everything you would need. Staff was helpful and attentive. The room and building are well maintained. Breakfast was included but please note that it is served at their Argostoli Essence hotel location (about a 7-8min walk or transport can be arranged). Check-in was slightly confusing - you have to notify the hotel 72hrs prior to arriving or walk into the neighbouring travel agency storefront but this wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Otherwise, great stay. "
