"Excellent value for money. The room is spacious, clean, with AC. I stayed for 7nights and will definetly come back. The bathroom is shared with an other room but I was mostly alone during my stay. Location is excellent to have easy acess to the pier, night market and the food court. I rent a motorbike to explore the rest of the Island. The hostess is so sweet and made my stay very special. "We were disappointed overall, and do not feel this property lived up to the Ritz Carlton brand. It is a large property, well maintained, with spacious rooms, but we didn’t feel there was anything unique in the style of the buildings…..it didn’t feel like an authentic Thai experience. The lobby and restaurants are not air conditioned, and it was hot with lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet was great, but our dinners were mediocre and we had to fight the bugs and could not enjoy our meals. We will not return."

"I stayed for 8 nights and had a great time. My room had plenty of space and I overlooked the pool and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Each wing has a lift so it was no trouble with suitcases. Breakfast was included with plenty of buffet options to choose from. Staff were lovely and helpful."

"We had an amazing stay at Sala Chaweng and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a great selection and excellent quality every morning. Our Garden Villa was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. The app feature to contact the front desk was also fantastic – responses were always quick and efficient, making everything so easy. A special mention to the General Manager, who was constantly walking around the resort, checking in with guests and making time for a chat. It was clear how much he cares about both the hotel and the guest experience. The little extra touches throughout our stay made our honeymoon feel truly special, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend Sala Chaweng to anyone visiting Koh Samui and hope to return again in the future."

We rate 4 out of 5 stars since the food was okay-ish but not great (compared to other restaurants on the island which are much better). Overall we would recommend and also would be happy to come back."
