The property has a certain problem with the walls which took away from the experience. Though the owner was nice and the view from the balcony inspiring. I would return to Chamonix.

A great hotel. Sadly for those of us wanting a night of sleep there're were revellers close by until the small hours.

Very nice staff but the property is very dated and pub downstairs constantly closed (which may not be a problem). Very convenient to the centre of Chamonix but no onsite parking and ski storage is very small.

Reasonably comfort with good location in Chamonix
Stayed at the La Vallee Blanche hotel for a few days recently. Hotel has some charm and was warm and cozy. The walls are tired with flaking stucco and the curtains in our room were very faded and dusty. The location is handy as long as you don't have a car. The staff we encountered varied from very helpful and friendly to not so much. Breakfast was average and the price was good by comparison. We paid $300 a night so the "Motel 6" quality was a little shocking.

Lovely hotel
Lovely small hotel, great value. Nice and clean small room with en-suite. Staff are really nice. Breakfast is basic, fresh and has everything required. Overall a great stay.

Central Chamonix
We arrived to a very warm welcome. The hotel is in a great position - central to all restaurants, station is an easy walk and only a few minutes walk to access main attractions. We were made to feel at home in this older, but very comfortable hotel.

Could be a real Gem, but needs TLC
The location is superb, Alex on the front desk was really friendly and couldn’t help enough. My frustration with the hotel is that with a bit of TLC it could be brilliant. The Irish theme bar is dated and has no real sense of purpose. It would not take much to freshen it up as a bar/coffee shop. Lots of passing trade and close to town centre. The rooms were fine although lift not working. Overall, I would stay again as the price point is good, but I’d love for the owners to find their confidence and invest in the place.

Nice place to stay with reasonable room rates. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory but not great. They have a nice bar with a friendly bartender. Minibar in rooms have good prices. Staff speaks English.

No refund on free cancellation up to Now
I am a guide on TMB tracking. I reserved 4 nights this property for my friend 's spouse. I made free cancellation for her reservation because of schedule change and medical treatment. She can't get deposite money on free cancellation, even though this hotel was charged 1 more night on free cancellation. No responsibility on free cancellation hotels.com and this hotel.

The property is a small 3 star hotel but clean and centrally located right on the stream at the foot of Mount Blanc. It is next to three excellent restaurants, one across the river, whose name is Atmosphere. Located a short walk across the river, it is a Michelin rated restaurant with excellent food.

Great night's stay
Great friendly welcome at a comfortable hotel. Very helpful and personable staff who sorted out free on street parking for us. Room was smallish but great bed and very clean and comfortable. We were worried it mught be noisy, but double (?triple) glazing on our two windows kept it very quiet, if a little warm (August) . Breakfast was buffet style with good choice and it was fun to sit beside the rushing Arve, just at the window.

Myself and my partner had a fantastic time for our summer holiday at this lovely family run hotel located in the centre of Chamonix. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and we had a lovely breakfast every morning. We had an amazing view from our window and will be returning again in January for our winter ski break with family.

Very well located, comfortable old style French Hotel with helpful friendly staff. We had three rooms on three different floors and all were spacious and well equipped. Small comfortable on site bar. The hotel is in the centre of town near the Casino and a short 10 minute level walk to the first ski lift. A short button lift which takes you up to the Brevent cable car. The bus stop for the complimentary electric bus, which takes you round the town, is across the road but you have to change buses at Chamonix Sud to get to the main ski lifts.

Great service and location, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable and there was a dripping noise in the wall next to the bed. Made it harder to fall asleep. Nice updated bathroom.
