Foshan is about 30 mins away from Guangzhou by car or train. There are regular trains from Guangzhou station to the city of Foshan (much fewer from Guangzhou East station where the trains from HK stop at). Foshan is known to be the ancestral home of Bruce Lee and also famous for its ceramics and wooden furniture. The city of Foshan is about an hour drive from Shunde. Getting over to Foshan is a lot more convenient if one travels north by ferry to Shunde and then drive to Foshan. Alternatively, one can travel the way we did by train from HK to Guangzhou and then take the train or subway to Foshan. It took a lot longer by subway though as there are many stops along the way linking Guangzhou subway stations to Foshan subway stations. #architecture
