"This is an old style hotel which has been modernised very well. I was aware of the lack of a lift and even though I was allocated a room on the third floor it was no problem for my 76 year old body. There was an offer at reception to carry my bag up. The dining area was spacious with fresh hot breakfast food waiter served. No air conditioning in the room but it only got direct sunlight early/late, so tolerable. The room itself was fine. The 10 min climb up from the harbour on a narrow-ish one way street with pavements was no problem to me, but might be for other non-car using guests. The staff were attentive and my stay enjoyable. -------"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ambassadeur and would happily return. The location is fantastic, right opposite the beach with beautiful sea views, and it’s only a short bus ride into St Helier, making it an ideal base for exploring Jersey. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, always happy to go the extra mile with a smile. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The food was another highlight. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the evening meals were excellent, with generous portions and great quality. It was clear that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service. For anyone looking for a friendly, well-run hotel that offers fantastic value in a beautiful seaside location, I couldn’t recommend the Hotel Ambassadeur highly enough. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so enjoyable—we’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"Staff and services excellent for 3 Star hotel Ventilation is totally inadequate with NO aircon Breakfast is superb and refreshed regularly Bar and restaurant prices in line with other hostelries in area 25 min walk to Liberty bus station and 16 minutes to murky beach All in all great for kids with water park games room and activity centre"

"Nice enough. Some staff really great and some not much. Not keen on system for the swimming pool - have to ask for a key each time and sign a waiver! Stopped me using it. Restaurant is good. Good breakfast and dinner is good and decent prices compared to the town. Loved the open park in front of the hotel for walks, running and exercises."

"Smooth check in by friendly informative staff . Hotel room was great , with a lovely harbour view . Sadly the hotel was having some external work done so there was a lot of scaffolding up around the building that slightly spoiled the experience. No hairdryer in room a little disappointing. Buffet breakfast superb choices . Waiting staff wonderful Evening meal delicious- sadly no view from restaurant due to scaffolding. Afternoon tea also excellent! All in all a wonderful stay ."
