"Everything was great. If I made any suggestion on improvements, it would be to add a hair dryer in the bathroom. Super clean. I will say this is a cool retro vibe place with a county rustic and and vintage feel. If you are the type that needs a corporate glam place, this isn't for you. If you are looking for homey, friendly folks that care a lot about your stay, and you love the outdoors, this is it! Owners operate this establishment. They also own more land behind the motel that is a fabulous scenic hike about! Loved it all! (except the lack of a hair dryer.)"

"So excited to snag a room at this lodge inside the Mess Verde National Park. The views are amazing. Nice, basic accommodations. The lounge has an outside seating area perfect for enjoying drinks and the views. The restaurant also has great views to go with delicious meals. The trout was amazing. Our server,Brian, did an exceptional job because they were short staffed. This was Oct 2 and the govt shut down had closed the park. We were still able to drive the park and take in the views. Being able to stay there helped soften the blow of not being able to do the Cliff Dwelling tour. "
