"This is a really wonderful hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful and we appreciated all the little touches that put them a notch above the rest.. like the wine and apps hour, late night cookies and milk, the breakfast basket and jeep rides to local restaurants. Our room was actually bigger and nicer than I anticipated, which rarely happens."

"The property personnel was great greeted us very well with the parking and front counter. Only problem we had was the cleaning crew never cleaned the bathrooms and the room I was in which was room 333 had a musty, moldy smell when you weren’t in there for a while the restaurant had pretty good food. The coffee bar they had upfront. It wasn’t the best in the world."

"Amazing stay, as always! We absolutely love the Charleston Place Hotel and make it our anniversary destination every year. The rooms are beautiful, the service is consistently exceptional, and the location simply can't be beat. Once we arrive, we never need to get back in the car until it's time to head home. Everything we love about downtown Charleston—restaurants, shopping, and historic attractions—is just a short walk away. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. We already can't wait for our next anniversary stay!"

"Some lint came out of the overhead vent onto our bedspread right after we checked in. After letting them know they immediately sent housekeeping to change all the linens. This is the second time we have stayed at the Vendue. Very convenient to lots of places within walking distance, including the Market. Will come again."
