"The gentleman at check-in was friendly, outgoing and very professional. The woman this morning at check out didn’t look up from her phone enough to even say good morning so we left the keys on the desk and kept walking. Simply rude!
Hotel is ok considering the price. Caulk in bathroom had mold and wallpaper was peeling. Faucet hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Had a lot of soap scum. Bed was super firm (loved it!) but was VERY high and a little hard to get onto because I am short.
My only MAJOR complaint is the doors slamming. Money needs to put into capital improvements to put closures on each room door so that they don’t slam shut. Didn’t appreciate being awakened beginning at 4am by people around us leaving early. Not everyone is considerate enough to catch it with their foot so by 6am I was majorly annoyed and wide awake.
Arm chair in #132 needs to be steam cleaned. It’s filthy!"
"This hotel definitely has some challenges. However I do have to say that after bringing my concerns to the management they really did their best to go above and beyond to make things right."
"The staff was polite and welcoming. Especially the morning breakfast helper was wonderfully accommodating and genuinely hospitable Saturday mirning answering questions and keeping everything filled, neat and clean."
"The only issue i had was my toilet was clogged. I called downstairs and asked could someone come and fix the issue. The receptionist had said it might be a while and if I wanted to ckme get the plunger and unclog it myself. I laughed and said NO. I just checked in and used the bathroom, I had no issues with waiting. Not even 5 mins later someone was there to fix the problem. Other than that and no swimming pool, this is a nice stay. Close to everything you need in California."
"The water smelled. You have to run it for a little while for the smell to disappear. The towels were dingy and stained. Bring your own. You had to go into another hotel across the way for ice. The staff was excellent but the smelly water and towels were disgusting. I guess you get what you pay for because it's priced well."
