"Nice little Hotel. I normally stay IHG, but the Holiday Inn in Clinton does not allow pets. Booked here, not knowing what I was gonna find, but I was pleasantly surprised!!! I was able to get a room that had a whole separate bedroom from the living area, which is a must when you have a dog, that will bark at the wind. Keeps them away from the front entry and all the noises. TVs could use an upgrade, but the internet was good...if you are a gamer. Would stay here again with no hesitation!!! Oh yeah....and the breakfast is good, with a bunch of different options. If you find yourself in town looking for some beer and amazing food...you have to check out Stouts!!!"
"Our stay here was ok. Room was clean and comfortable. It was very cool to stay in a peace of history with the hotel being from late 1800s. But when we booked the hotel there was a restaurant and bar that were supposed to be open and they were not, and were not notified. Just go somewhere for breakfast instead of the hotels. Also the gentleman running the place could not speak English, so it was hard to communicate. Overall we would stay here again. It is right in town, you can walk anywhere and your 15min from the caves."
"There was a large group of people who overtook the lobby, pool, and bar areas. So loud I could barely hear the front desk attendant.
The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water temp went from scalding hot to cold to scalding hot.
Stayed here before and first time having issues.
Staff were great though."
"Our room had a leak from the upstairs unit over our unit over the toilet. My husband is a plumber and he knew it was a leak from the toilet upstairs and it was from dirty toilet water cause it leaked whenever they used the toilet. We were unable to move rooms as the hotel was booked. There was nothing they could do. They said they could look into a credit however when I attempted to talk to them again they didn't help. The continental breakfast was non existent. Try to talk to the desk assistant in the morning and no one was there. Finally left after a 10 minute wait. Am very unhappy with my stay and will not recommend another Econo Lodge."
