Room was comfy and clean :)! It’s a bit sketchy due to the fact that it’s a kinda behind the motel 6 but overall everything else was great. The reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the elevators not functioning for a bit and there was no signage whatsoever but I mean for the price it was a great stay.

I was reading the reviews beforehand and there was a few about a smell but I didn’t think too much about it until I got there and realized the smell they were talking about was MOLD. the rooms are covered in mold all over the furniture. The staff is excellent though.

The hallways and room had a weird smell, the pool was not open and the water was green. It looked like it has not been open for awhile. Cleaniness was poor. The one elevator they had broke twice during our 2 night stay. We ended up leaving after our event the second night and decided to drive 5 hours back home at 1am.

Cons-The area of the property was a little sketchy at first. Sits back in a wooded area. Hallway on the 5th floor smelled moldy/mildewed. Bed sheets were thin. WiFi didn’t work during stay. Pros-Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good with many options. Staff were polite. Location is in a good place with plenty of places around for food, gas, etc. Convenient to uptown Charlotte.

Staff was incredibly kind, especially Suggu. Room was clean except for the shower (had a suspicious brown stain :0) and food was decent. Was able to book shuttle last minute as well.

So there was only one elevator that was working, and the one that was working was moving slowly. The room was actually great! The breakfast was good, and the property was, too. The check-in process was very long. The price was great! Overall, it was a good stay with minor adjustments.

The women who clean and set up breakfast are awesome. Front desk / reception wasn’t so welcoming. Pool wasn’t open amid the hot weather, early check in wasn’t provided after a prior phone call with confirmation. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good.
