"Simply put one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful grounds and hotel and the staff goes above and beyond for its guests. Highly recommend for anyone going to Loire Valley. "Very nice place to stay... close to Tours & Blois / Orleans, if heading north or south from the UK to the the south of France. Really great food & service.

"What a wonderful place close to the Loire. This old farmhouse offers spacious rooms and a generous breakfast in the morning. The owners are so helpful and lovely. It is not the Ritz in Paris, but it is a gem in the countryside. From here you can drive easily to the amazing castles along the Loire. We will be back! "
"Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment.
Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated.
After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it.
Coming back to the room we were intrigued by the way the towels were displayed in the bathroom and we thought well that is perhaps the way they do it.

"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."

"This was the next to last stop on a 2 week road trip to northern France.....Loire Valley, land of castles and chateaux. After much research, my husband found this gem next to the river. We stayed in one of the original buildings that had been modernized, but still had charm and character of the past with exposed, rustic beams and plaster work.
The restaurant/bistro was modern with indoor/outdoor dining, a diverse French menu and excellent wine list. The staff was well versed, efficient and very friendly."
