"A unique place to stay with a lovely pool/ spa and comfortable bed. A little let down by the service. Kettle in room and two herbal tea bags. We asked if it was posssible to have a black tea teabag (essential for English travellers) but were told no we would have to order tea in the cafe if we wanted black tea. Very disappointing for a hotel that prides itself on good customer service!"

"Lovely 15th century farm house with all the charm that comes with it. Great indoor pool and peaceful setting. The hosts were great and very welcoming. Perfect!"

"Very nice hotel, clean, spacious, well maintained. Very comfortable. Staff a little dour and not very engaging, but my French was poor so maybe that was it, but the property was good."

"Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return. "
