"Hotel was perfect for a long weekend get away. It’s in perfect location to both Brussels central and midi station 30 mins walking for both. Buffet breakfast was smaller than other places we’ve been too but honestly they had enough food for every taste. If your gluten or lacto intolerant they had a section there too. Staff were lovely, just bear in mind that there isn’t a daily clean service of your room you have to ask specifically what you need and it gets done, no fuss. We really appreciated that we could leave our bags in a safe place at the hotel especially as we were catching a late train. Room was spacious, we did arrive early and they kindly found us a room before check in time which was greatly appreciated as we had woken up super early and just needed a nap before our Brussels centre adventure. I would massively recommend this hotel. You are not far away from a very chic high street and the town centre is around a 30 min walk. Almost forgot there is a Carrefour extra across the road for anything. Would definitely come back."

"We had a great stay. Room was clean and the view was good. Gym was fine, small but had the basics needed for a short work out. We had an issue with the staff at Lila 29 on the night we wanted to grab a drink, they were busy but managed to find us a table. The staff member was rude, didn’t greet us on arrival and didn’t walk us to our table, just pointed from across the room ‘you can sit there, order at the bar because service is very slow’ and left us to it. Didn’t give us a menu or show any willingness to help. The bar was busy and there weren't any menus anywhere visible so we just left. After returning home we noticed we had a charge to the card we paid the €400 deposit on. Only of around €20, but with no receipt or acknowledgement of what this charge was for. We didn’t use anything from the mini bar but were given a box of chocolates on arrival for my partners birthday, along with a card from the hotel. This was a lovely gesture but less lovely if that’s what we ended up being charged for! All in all, we had a good time and would return to another standard hotel. They’re very cool and very beautiful but the staff lacked warmth in our experience."

"Very much liked our stay at City Box. Checking in was streamless and though there was only one elevator working at the time of our stay we never had to deal with waiting to get up to our room. Room was clean, bed was so comfortable, accessible to everything and a safe area. Extra towels were needed for the last of days and we were able to get them right away when requested. Our trip was memorable and staying at city box made it worthwhile. Definitely would recommend staying there and would gladly stay there again."
