"The hotel is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and it is perfectly located for walkable journeys in all directions. Vieux Lyon is close by. There are markets on both the Rhône and the Saône. You can see the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière from the hotel, and it’s situated right on Place Bellecour. The amazing Les Halles Des Lyon Paul Bocuse is a short walk. Maybe the best part is that the cocktail lounge is magnificent in styling and has amazing mixologists. These gentlemen are professionals. I will stay here again. Great visit."

"I was so disappointed with the property especially given the rate. The property is undergoing a refurb, had furniture and cables everywhere in the foyer, they were also painting and had a temporary check in desk. One lift wasn’t working, the door to our room got stuck each time and was very hard to open, the rooms themselves weren’t great - one big disappointment and certainly not worth the price! In addition on arrival we were told they were over booked and were looking to send us to a sister property! Wouldn’t stay here again it recommend it. "

"No help with luggage to room. Not sure I’ve ever encountered this Very expensive breakfast which was ok but substandard for the price Room service never showed up one day ( we had a suite) One good thing was bar brought a bottle of wine to our room (I gave a good tip) Pictures of French men all over the place. Where are the women? Dinner there one night was quite good grounds are fair-poor. For a high priced hotel, this was well below standard we have experienced over many years It’s far from town with a pathetic “funicular “ which is apparently known for pick pockets, into town No ax to grind here from an experienced, but disappointed traveler"
