"Lovely location with beautiful views. We had asked if we could have a room with a view, but on arrival we were given ground floor which was quite dark inside and overlooking the rooms accross from ours, we were moved to an upper floor again overlooking the next accommodation block and a little brighter, if you book try and get one with a view. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom shower cubicle leaked water and the shower head kept dropping so had to keep adjusting it really needs a new modern shower unit, our bathroom sink kept blocking but they did come out to help but was still slow to empty. Food was good we ate on both nights of our stay, the spa front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good plenty of choice."

"It was okay. No where on the building does it have the words Redwings, which caused more than a little confusion. The room itself was okay, but there was maybe a quarter of a roll of loo roll for three of us to share for a two night stay! The air con worked fine, but dripped water on our belongings, so woke up with soaking luggage. The evening ‘restaurant’ only served drinks. Flat screen TV wasn’t connected to the internet so no channels were available to watch. It was £5 to use the car park for 24 hours, and there were less than 10 spaces available, so parking was a challenge. The main entrance to the hotel was through the back of the car park. But other than that, it was fine!"

"I need to pay more attention to what I am booking but this place didnt really feel like a hotel but a conference centre with rooms. But on saying that there were positives which I will start with. Firstly, the staff were brilliant. They couldn't be more helpful and friendly even when I was grumpy. Secondly, breakfast was pretty good. The rooms, as the weekend was a hot one, were cool even without air con. And the bed comfy. Now to the bad points. I am a big guy and the room i was given I could not fit in the shower. The gap in the doors just didnt allow it. To be fair to the hotel staff they swapped out room where the shower cubicle had a proper door and no problems. What I dont get is apparently this is a common complaint with the room we were given. So change the shower cubicle. I would like to point out it wasnt the size of the cubicle just the doors didnt open wide. And lastly its a pet peeve that you have to buzz in and out of the hotel. I just dont see the point and it just makes me fill like I am not trusted. Minor thing as it seems to be creeping into hotels but I hate it. Got to admit the staff saved this review as I was close to blowing my top over the shower."

"We had a lovely stay the staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful our room was clean and very spacious and the bed was very comfy they had Dove shower gel and shampoo free to use in the bathroom/shower the breakfast was great with also the option to grab and go so we made bacon rolls up to take on the next part of our trip this is my second time to stay at this hotel and I would recommend it there is also a lovley restaurant next door in walking distance that serves great meals and carvery at great prices also parking at the hotel is free 😊"
