Highly recommend the suite. The view is stunning, especially from the bathtub. Also remember to ask for a smoke free room.

Elevator is not very convenient
I am rather happy with my stay in the JW Marriott here, however, the only thing bothers me is the elevator system they have. You'll have to use two elevators to go up or go down.

Nice hotel but don't expect good service
The hotel is beautiful and very luxurious. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Executive lounge complimentary drinks are time limited to 7 to 9pm in the evening (which is not advertised clearly on here or the website). Restaurant closes early with only room service available. Room service menu is only in Chinese with limited options. Sauna and steam room closed during my visit which wasn't explained at check-in. Management ignored emails of concerns. Nice hotel but very poor service. I would recommend Hyatt or Hilton instead.

Excellent hotel
Room is very spacious and the bathroom is amazing. Breakfast is good and the selection is very wide, so even if I had to stay for 5 nights, I still won't feel like just eating the same few dishes again. Excellent location, 5min walk to Tianfu Square and 10min walk to Chunxi Shopping Area. Room is very clean and having a conference there is a very good choice, with good service and all.

A very nice hotel at a great location, with friendly staff and superb service, the JW Marriott should be on anyone's short list of hotel choice when visiting Chengdu. We will definitely stay here again!

Hotel is fairly new. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room is Good size. We had problems with the in room heat system set at 23 degree C in the buidling. Despite the technician trying to lower the temperature, we had to endure the uncomfortable heat at night. We stayed at a Non smoking room, but we smell smoky from the ventilation.

The buffet breakfast totally not 5 stars standard. The staff are poorly trained where the noise generated from the staff is so much louder than the guest.

Wonderful high-end hotel in Chengdu
Amazing wifi, and the hotel is so clean and welcoming - the lounge offers delicious almost-meals. After an exhausting day of work, you get back to their sunlit lobby and feel at peace. They do great upgrades for Platinum elites, too. But late at night their check-in process is admittedly a bit confused, and people are counting cash in public.

Amazing experience gorgeous hotel beautiful fittings. We were in the executive room on the executive lounge floor - perfect service in the lounge and great food we didn’t even need to go out for dinner there were local favourites and even a Chinese noodle bar! All in all a perfect experience.

Cozy and convenient
The hotel is located in the central area of chengdu. The room is clean and new. My friend left her old Tshirt in the room. They send me a email to let me know they'll keep the T-shirt and are willing to send it to me.

Great centrally located hotel
Tianfu Square only a few minutes walk, taxis right in front. Very helpful and courteous staff. Quiet spacious room, all facilities worked well except the coffeemaker. Do not disturb button seemed somehow accidentally on so we found our room as we left it after an overnight trip out if town. Excellent choices of breakfast many and varied, all delicious (we stuck to Chinese breakfast). Would definitely stay again should we revisit Chengdu.

Great hotel with an amazing service
Absolutely amazing stay at this property. Clean and new hotel in the middle of all the attractions. Very close to Tianfu Square and the famous Chunxi Road which is a shoppers paradise. Fantastic service by the staff who are always willing to help you. Great breakfast, lovely gym and the swimming pool and most importantly, spotlessly clean room with all the modern amenities at your disposal. Would surely stay here if we go back to Chengdu !! Go JW

This a 5 stars hotel but locate in a 3 stars location. At least walk 20-30 mins to IFS. But you could get a ride on taxi RMB to IFS RMB 100, panda base RMB $50, airport RMB $50. Love the breakfast. Is a brand new hotel but I can see stain and damage already. In the center of the city, so all main attraction around RMB $20 taxi rate.

JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu is located in the city center, which takes 5 minutes by walk to Tianfu Square, in this case, I would suggest our guest take the metro line 2 to Chunxi Road station next time, it's just one station distance from Tianfu Square and IFS will within reach. Great location and great customer service
The hotel was in walking distance to everything. Very conveniently located. Staff spoke good English and friendly. Very helpful for showing us how to get to places.
