Our family stayed at the Carlton for 3 nights and the overall quality and staff services were great. The free offside parking is within a manageable walking distance. The hot water system does need a bit improvement since letting the water runs 3-5 minutes in order to get the actual hot water before shower isn't environmental and water resource friendly for a hotel property. However, I would still add the Carlton to my hotel list in Taichung.

The room I have was very different from I used to book. Staff said they have a new owner. But that shouldn’t be the reason.
