"So nice that we extended our stay. Pool and lazy river are a lot of fun, pickleball, mini golf and disc golf all available on site. Good restaurant food and easy access to the mountains roads. Great for spirited drivers and hikers. Even have car wash stations available. Definitely making a lot of return trips to this lodge."

"We needed an affordable, no-frills place to stay during our short visit to the Murphy / Lake Hiwassee area. This motel fit the bill and we were very satisfied. It was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the cute retro decor, especially the yard flamingos planted outside each room! Receiving a nice fruit/goodies basket during our stay was a nice surprise and much appreciated."

"We’ve stayed here many times and always receive excellent service. I booked a room with a sofa just so we’d be more comfortable watching tv, but we were assigned a room on the first floor that did not have a sofa. Do the price difference from the original room was about $23. No big deal, but Expedia gave us a credit of $25 to use later. I think maybe the young man switched us to the first floor as a courtesy to us since we’re elderly. He prob thought it would be better for us."

"Wow!!! What an amazing property. Everything was perfect. Very clean and well kept. This was a family trip (family of 6). We did orlando, north Georgia and our last stop was here, I only wished we stayed longer. Its perfect for a family vacation or couples escape. The area did lose power so we used the grill, and it was perfect. We did smores with the kids as well. They also provide a firepit. It was just perfect you guys have done such a great job. I took the time to read through your book and recommendations. It is a neat touch. The decor is is beautiful. I have nothing but positive words for this property. One of my favorite stays from all the properties I have ever stayed, and I travel often. I hope to be able to return. Thank you so much!"

"We stayed in a Hemlock Bungalow. It was superb. The bungalow was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was clean, and quiet. The amenities of the NOC were great as well. The staff that we interacted with were professional and extremely helpful. Overall my wife and I were very satisfied with our stay. The only negative I have was the shower fan didn't vent well and the shower design gets the bathroom floor very wet. Regardless, I recommend a visit."
