Premier Hotel Cabin Cherokee

"This hotel is going through renovations and the walls are incredibly thin. The hotel rooms are old and outdated. The front desk staff - in particular Laura charged my card a damage fee because she said the tv was too loud while we were gone to the casino and it cause both rooms next to us to leave the hotel. She lied. She is a racist. On my form to sign for the room she asked my nationality. I asked her what was that about ? Her reply was I was just being funny. I should have left then. We have recorded her na the room. The towels are severely used and thin. Horrible place to stay for the price a night. We were treated terrible at this establishment. If you are a brown person… please stay somewhere else.. "

"Harrahs needs better housekeepers and up-to-date rooms. I felt nasty the whole time in room 525. This is a smoke room l booked by mistake. It was spacious with good hot water, but the room itself felt nasty. "

"This was my second stay at this property, and unfortunately, my last. The first stay was, by far, much better. We stayed for two nights on this second trip. Pros: Good breakfast, River room views are beautiful, Property is conveniently located to various eateries and highways. Cons: Upon check-in, we found that the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. I called the front desk to request a replenishment and was told that she would contact Housekeeping. However, after 45 minutes of not receiving it, I was on my way to the front desk and found a housekeeping employee and told him about the situation. He replaced it right away but told me that the front desk never contacted him. Our second negative involved the housekeeping staff not changing the towels left on the floor in the bathroom. We returned at approximately 4 pm after being out all day. I approached the front desk and asked if we needed to request that the room be cleaned, but was told no, and that it was automatically scheduled. I informed her about the towels not being changed out and she was surprised. She asked that I bring the dirty ones to the front desk and that she would happily change them out, which I did. I left the property thinking that the lack of detail and attention had diminished at the property and will consider other properties on my next visit."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. I had trouble with the TV remote, and a front staff member came to the room to help me. :-) The property is clean, safe, and had everything we needed. The room is reasonably priced. We definitely will stay here again when we come back. "
