Great place to stay! Staff here at Rodeway are friendly and talk to you which is a big thing! Way better than super 8 by Wyndham in Cherokee. The guy with long hair is very rude at super 8. Stayed there 1 night and came to Rodeway the next day and stayed 2 nights which is where we should've came in the first place

Five minutes from Harrah's Casino. Private sitting areas off each room with a pretty view of river and trees. Better price than most. My only criticism would be that our TV only got about 30 or less channels with no menu or program listings, but I did not ask about it since we were gone out of the room most of rhe time. Overall it was a really really nice experience!

I’m not going to lie at first I was very hesitant about booking this property, but I WAS VERY surprised by how clean, and beautiful this property was!! I will stay here every trip to the mountains from now on!!!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location - second stay!
Our second time staying at the Rodeway Inn & Suites on the River in Cherokee. Location is GREAT! Short distance to the casino and lots of restaurants, even a Food Lion. Rooms face a mountain stream and are very private. Only downside was that our room smelled of pot from someone smoking on their balcony, several times during the day and once even in the middle of the night.

The stay was quiet and peaceful. Could use some updating in rooms. But wasn’t disappointed. Check-in person didn’t have friendly personality. Very soft spoken. I stayed 2 days and the cleaner didn’t come by to pick up the trash or exchange dirty towels with clean ones. Maybe give them 4 stars.

Property advertising breakfast and has a breakfast bar but no food and was placed in the entry way staying breakfast for guest. The hotel does need a remodel inside and definitely outside.

The room was pretty old but very clean. One of the staff seem to be very cold but I didn’t come here to make friends lol. This is a good property to relax after a long days hike and wake up the next morning looking at the stream sipping coffee. This is not the place for family vacation with kids or that kinda stuff. I would recommend this to my hiker friends.
