We stayed for a long weekend while my daughter had a lacrosse tournament in Asheville. We were able to have a delicious breakfast each morning, swim in the pool, and even paddle boarded one afternoon. It was a great weekend. The view from a lakeside room is awesome!

I have stayed at the Terrace many times for many years. It's always an enjoyable stay. One thing that is consistent over the years is the Internet is terrible. With an access point in our room the Internet was less than 10mb. In 2026 that's terrible. Other than than that the Terrace is a nice place to stay. The view of the lake is wonderful. That is why we return.

Property has a lovely view, convenient to small retail shops of Lake Junaluska and Chapel. The property is showing its age in several areas. The hotel could use a remodel, or at least a full inspection with repairs. Coffee should be available all day in the lobby, instead of only tea. The cafeteria could use better planning for group meals. Shellfish should not be served.

Second stay here and its just as we remember. Staff is so nice, the room was so nice and comfortable. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. Im dealing with some health issues. When I get better, we want to return for sure and do some exploring

This beautiful community had much to offer with free parking as well as a buffet breakfast. Staff was excellent. A large swimming pool and pickleball courts, and the ability to take walks all around the large lake filled with gardens was ultra/desirable. Playgrounds for the kids looked nice. A great space for conferences or time with family or friends. Numerous wedding venues throughout. Several choices to eat on the property and many other restaurants nearby

The hotel is in a lovely location and is very pretty. However it was not very clean. Our room had a sock in a corner and hair in the shower. The rockers and chairs on balconies were covered in cobwebs where you could not sit.

The property is in a beautiful setting but is geared to groups and not individual stays. Expedia said it had a restaurant but it only has one for group stays - in other words - not operating unless group is booked in. However, they did have a free full service breakfast each morning. The property needs cleaning up on the outside. Large hanging spider webs and cobwebs that were unsightly to say the least. The rooms were well maintained and clean. Bathroom extremely small. Good cable tv. If I was wanting to book a group, I would return but would not return as an individual couple.
