"House is clean and very nicely updated. Kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. Bedrooms and bathroom are very well done and comfortable. Location and neighborhood are great; very close to Main street, parks, and Skyline drive. Backyard is very large and fully fenced. Any additional comfy chair would be a great addition in the family room. Some of the stairs to upstairs are slanted down and make them feel slippery. We would recommend anti slip treads to stairs. "Our family stayed at the resort along with another family with a tween and teens. We enjoyed the indoor saltwater pool as well as the archery lesson. The complimentary shuttle was very convenient. We took advantage of the service for dinner at the Goodstone Inn, about a 10 minute drive away. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. The only reason I gave a 4 was that the wait for the Gold Cup was long and it would’ve been nice to have another dinner choice besides Harriman’s. "

While the property is under renovation, we were out from 9am-5pm daily and didn’t hear any construction noise during our stay. The property is certainly older and needs the renovation. "Great location for both the Skyline Drive access and Luray Caverns. The office was very accommodating of our late arrival. The room was a nice throwback and created a different experience than the five-star cookie cutter spots. Very romantic if you are with the right person!! Priced adequately!!"
