"Friendly staff, spa is ok but free which is the main thing. Parking was £12 a night which is annoying. But only if you book through a third party. Booking direct parking is free."

The hotel was a great base, just across the road is a park and ride bus service that took you straight to the centre snd easy to pick up back to the hotel. Great to have the pool and restaurant service too the breakfast certainly filled us up for our days out. "

Great location 5 minutes from motorway and only a few minutes from city centre and the zoo which is why we visited"

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel."
