Dirty, seriously run down, overpriced, sagging mattresses, ragged bath towels complete with holes, odds and ends for furniture, stained upholstery, sun bleached rag curtain on window. Had zero idea of poor condition of inn prior to booking. High rate due to Cheyenne Frontier Days, 7/19 through 7/28. Located next to very nice Sapp Brothers truck stop, with a good breakfast at the Apple Barrel restaurant.
For a Rodeway Inn this property is really run down. The staff do their best with what they have and are friendly and helpful. The rooms are minimal. Memory Foam Mattress on metal frame was the highlight. Bed had 1 set of clean sheets and thin blanket. I was cold. Furniture doesnt match. 1 panel drape didnt fit window and allowed no blackout. Bathtub...what was right? Dirty with lots of calcium build up. 1/2 of 2nd floor isnt even used. It is sketchy and owner needs to give up, bulldoze, and start over
The property was obviously not kept up-to-date. The towels and bedding were nearly threadbare - there was just one thin blanket on the bed and we had to bring one in from the car. Luckily, the foam mattress was comfortable. Due to the condition of the room and property, this was not a good value for the price.
A Time Travel Experience for the Brave

My 11-year-old was so taken aback, she didnât shed tears of joy but rather pure existential dread. Sometimes, life just has to impart those hard lessons early, right?
Kudos to the front desk lady who was nice enough to check us in. Bless her heart for being the sole ray of sunshine in what can only be described as a âunique lodging experience.â Now, we were aware (thanks to the website) that they had smoking and non-smoking rooms available. However, learning that âsmoking roomâ effectively means the entire motel operates like a college dorm during finals week was a revelation we didnât quite anticipate. It really should come with a warning: âEntire establishment infused with the lingering aroma of cigarettes and questionable choices.â
While our room was clean, I can only assume the bed was originally crafted for a pull-out couch in 1983. Seriously, with a frame that screams sofa bed and a mattress that dreams of being a comfy cloud but falls tragically shortâa nightâs rest became more of an arduous camping experience. We arrived to find the window thrown open (perhaps in a desperate attempt to air out the history of regret
