Charm ten minutes from bustling riverside hotels
We stayed for five nights at the Chu Hotel, far from the noise of the city but a mere ten minute walk to the night bazaar and Anantara Hotel. I can’t say enough about the charm of this boutique hotel. The rooms are oversized, beds comfortable and service with a smile. It felt like a great holiday. Will definitely book here again.

High class Chiang Mai on a medium budget
Great place in new condition. Staff very polite and service like a five star resort. There is a buffet AND made to order from the menu breakfast included in the breakfast service. Breakfast was quite good. Especially the salad and the fruit which are grown locally and "farm to table". I strongly recommend the salad bar for anybody that has not experienced the "farm to table" freshness of vegetables that are ripe picked as opposed the city vegetables that are picked before ripening and ripen on the way to market. Night market and "walking street" markets are a short walk for nightime activities, as is the indoor market. We shopped the local tour guides for the "whitewater rafting", mountain, Chiang Rai, and river cruise. I recommend all but the Chiang Rai tours.

Absolutely fantastic stay with Chu hotel, an area where the tranquil and peacefulness wash away your tiredness. My family love the hospitality Chu hotel offer :) It would be best the lobby could have fresh water for guest who enjoy sitting at the sofa area. :)

Wonderful Hotel
The hotel is located in a quiet place which feels so relax and safe, easy to acess to crowded city life within few mins walking distance. Near Ping River and Iron Bridge. What a amazing location, simple but more than enough breakfast, nice and polite staff without any disturbance, I stay there 4N3D, can’t wait to book another stay on 2 to 6 Aug. Chiangmai, I will be back because of Chu Hotel!

One of the best hotel in town.
Had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and upgraded my one bedroom straight to a two bedrooms unit without needing me to check out and checkin the next day as per my original booking. One suggestion for the management is to install an exhaust fan in the washroom. Cheers.

This hotel might be good gor foreigner esp. Chinese, but as we are Thai, maid not show sign of greeting to us such as sawasdee when we walk pass through them which this is not familiar to Thai people. Room is clean, quiet and comfort, good air-con for a good sleep. Breakfast with limited choice but it was ok for me.

The BEST hotel, ever!
Our stay at the CHU hotel was more than we could ever imagine. The staff was great and went above and beyond for us. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is located on a quiet street and it’s close to most touristic areas. The breakfast is delicious. The grounds are green and airy and the rooms and simply decorated. It was more spacious than we imagined. We will definitely be back to that hotel and will recommend it to anyone I know who will visit Chiang Mai! It is very much worth every penny spent.

Awesome place!
The stuff is just amazing, the breakfast was delicious, severla option to choose, they even upgrade us because of our honeymoon. All clean. They even hook us up the Elephant and Chiang Rai tour, at great prices. We stayed more nights!!!

A quiet and relaxing place.
The hotel is very nice, comfortable, and especially very quiet at night, a big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The walk to the night market is about 10- 15 minutes and other than crossing the streets, and the typical uneven pavement, it is an easy walk. Breakfast is nice as well, not a whole lot of options, but enough.

The Chu is a fantastic hotel. Great location, property, rooms and the staff is outstanding. I travel to Chiang Mai 4-5 times a year and have stayed at many hotels in the area, the Chu is my favorite. I will be staying there again.

Modern, comfortable, spacious, friendly hotel.
Perfect hotel for a 5 day quiet stay with a self drive car. Location comfortable 15 min walking distance to night Bazzar, Wororot market, and 5-10 min walk to riverside restaraunts, Rimping supermarket. Staff really lovely, room very good size and natural light. Fittings in excellent condition. Free breakfast variety was excellent. Free WiFi flawless. Will preference this Chiang Mai hotel next time I visit.

Love the Chu! What a great hotel!
What an amazing hotel! We were welcomed by friendly staff and given a free upgrade. The room was spacious with an amazing canopy bed, kitchen, sitting area and massive bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower with rainfall shower head. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! It's tucked away from the road and is so quiet and peaceful while still being a short ten minute walk to Chiang Mai's famous Night Bazaar. Love this hotel!

Very nice, especially if you want peace & quiet
Stayed for two nights. This place is gorgeous, it's a little peaceful oasis. Loved being on the property, breakfast was good too. Only thing I didn't like was having to cross really busy streets to get to the other side of the river. Nice spot if you have a rental car or scooter as there is room to park. For that reason I'd say if you have small children and are walking everywhere it's not great. Walking the street along the river for shopping and restaurants really isn't friendly for little kids, negligible sidewalks and busy. Other than that street the neighborhood seems a little desolate but not unsafe. This place was my husbands favorite of the six hotels we stayed at in Thailand. For me it was a very close second.

Nice property
Should provide hotel telephone contact in the booking as the cab driver couldn't find the location of the hotel just by the address . Otherwise , it is a nice property, tastefully decorated and very well maintained . Good service overall except that there's no ironing services . Had to walk around 20 minutes to a convenience stall . Will be difficult to get around if not driving .

Relaxing getaway in Chiangmai
Chu Hotel was very welcoming. It's in a very different location from most of the Chiangmai accommodations but it's nice being in such a quiet location. Everything was very trendy and nice and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a nice spread that also included a rotating menu of breakfasts cooked for you. The neighborhood was full of art galleries and the main Chiangmai attractions were still just a short walk away

Nice new hotel with few drawbacks
The room is spacious and comfortable. The AC is strong. Bed is quite comfortable. Negatives - Warm water at best not hot. They have an instant heater which doesn't work good. Also, the staff spoke basic English at best. Communication was a bit challenging, although not too hard. All in all, great value.

Beautiful hotel, convenient location
The Room: - Extremely comfortable bed, especially compared to other beds in Asia. Large size. Soft bedding with extra pillows. - A full size fridge, cabinet space, dishes, and a sink. There is a small table and chairs. - Up-to-date television and appliances. The Bathroom: - GORGEOUS! The shower is open to the room, with the floor having a drain. A rainfall shower that has excellent pressure. A large bathtub located adjacent to the shower area. - The blow dryer works well! This may seem minor, but this blow dryer actually dries your hair quickly with enough power. The Grounds: - Well designed lobby. They bring you a drink and cookies upon your arrival. - Picnic tables outside. Enough space to park cars and scooters. The Breakfast: - A small selection of Asian delicacies, a large selection of fresh fruit, some baked goods such as homemade donuts and muffins. - They prepare a "BLT" sandwich for you, ready upon arrival. I loved it! The Staff: - Extremely accommodating. Met us at the curb to handle our bags. Drew us maps around the city to find what we needed. Called our cabs and/or an excursions we had booked. The Location: - Could not have been better! You are one block off the main road, which helps keep the busyness and the noise down. - 15 minute walk to the Night Bazaar and then you can easily walk into the Old City. We walked around before renting scoots to scoot around further.

非常棒的入住經驗
飯店早餐有泰式小吃，也有現做的西式早餐，都蠻好吃的。飯店服務很好，一開始安排的房間不是我預定的需求最後也得到滿意的安排，離開時遺忘了一罐香水，飯店用最快的速度幫我快遞到曼谷的飯店，雖然需要自行支付運費，但處理的效率很高！ 飯店位在很安靜的區域，離River market很近晚上可以喝杯酒再散步回家，如果再去清邁還會再入住！

Modernes, kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage unweit vom Fluss, kaum Autolärm. Zum Nightbasar sind es ca 10 min zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Frühstück gibt es sechs eher europäisch beeinflußte Menüs zur Auswahl, die frisch zubereitet werden, Thai Essen befindet sich in wechselnden Varianten beim Buffet. Hoher Anspruch an die Hygiene, es wird immer alles abgedeckt. Das Personal ist reichlich und sehr aufmerksam. Im Hotel gibt es kostenlos Fahrräder zum leihen um schnell in die Stadt zu gelangen.

おすすめします。
空港から15分、ターペイ門までタクシー5分か徒歩15分、市内からは外れていますが静かに過ごせます。 朝ごはんも満足の内容です。 ナイトマーケットは徒歩圏内なので便利です。 部屋は清潔でゆっくり過ごせました。 シャワー、アメニティ、空調、トイレ 全く問題ありません。 英語が苦手な私達を丁寧に説明して対応してくれました。 早朝便に合わせて朝食を弁当にしてくれました。 楽しいチェンマイ旅行になりました。
