Ich buchte und verstand erst später dass mir ein Hotel in Chan Saen angedreht wurde, das kein Stadtteil von Chiang Rai ist sondern 40km entfernt liegt. Staff don't speak much English, so get a translator app on your phone (e.g. Google Translator with offline Thai language pack) before you travel. Restaurant closes at 9PM, but there is a great place called Come Moon with live music. Only 5 minutes walk, and it closes at midnight."
