Starting with the positive, the woman at the front desk who checked us in and out was incredibly helpful, friendly, and prompt. That being said, I know other guests struggled to get the same level of service.
That’s where the positives end. I wouldn’t stay here unless you absolutely have to. Upon going up the dirty elevator to my floor, the hallways instantly reeked of smoke and cooking gas. The room smelled slightly better, but only if you believe the smell of powerful cleaning products to be preferable to that of cigarettes.
The rooms were dingy and barely clean. Upon stripped the bed of sheets, I found hair and lint, indicating that they likely had not been changed before my arrival. I checked everywhere for bedbugs per the recommendation of other reviews. I didn’t find any but I’ll be running my laundry dry through the dryer several times over to be safe. The carpeted floors were mysteriously sticky, and at least one of my towels had a strange red stain on it (the rest seemed clean and smelled fresh).
During my stay, the other guests frequently complained, especially about the cleanliness of the hotel and the “breakfast” offerings, which were coffee and prepackaged pastries that you could get from a vending machine. The fact that the property advertises this as a meal at all feels like a gross overstatement.
Wi-fi never worked for me during the course of my stay, and there’s no business center.
Would not stay here again unless there were literally no other alternative.
