I had such an amazing stay at this hotel!! The staff was nice and accommodating and the bar downstairs was so much fun. I will definitely stay here again!!

A hotel in the heart of Chicago downtown, located in historical building. Walking distance to all main attractions - first 3 days didn't use public transportation at all. Very nice staff, especially Michael at the reception was very helpful with making an upgrade to suit and giving directions on how to get around. Will definitely recommend this hotel. The only thing - it would be good to have a kettle and some plates and forks in the suit, as it has a kitchennette but no cutlery. Other than that all is good.

Great location but other than that there was hair in the shower when we checked in. The table in the room looked like it had not been cleaned. Very dark and depressing decor.

Very unique hotel with great staff! There are limited food options in hotel but it’s downtown Chicago. Walk a block in any direction for anything you need. Highly recommended

Place is in a perfect location, if u go to the Casino they will comp your parking if you get a players card and play a little bit! Lobby Office was opened at checkin and looked completely unorganized! Rooms are not ready until exactly 3pm and downstairs bar and restaurants do not open until 5pm! Bartenders hanging out in bar during day but u have to go elsewhere until 5pm! Rooms are suites with living room and separate bedroom! I liked the room!

Very confused on reading past good reviews on this hotel as we found it unappealing with far nicer hotels available close by for similar money (Arlo). First and foremost the staff, what can I say! We have traveled through much of the States and I’m sorry to say the staff on check in here made us feel so unwelcome. Our room (standard) was looking out on a black wall. You didn’t know if it was day or night. I don’t recommend staying here. Far better in Chicago honestly. A big disappointment. Go elsewhere.

This is a cute boutique property but it's dated and in need of being refreshed. The bar is not owned by the hotel so they literally don't care about being helpful. I was confused as to where the elevator was because it's not obvious because it all blends in due to the decor so I asked the gentleman that was literally standing at a podium in front of the elevator and he could care less about helping me. This happened in total 3 x with different bar staff. I asked the front desk why this was, and they just rolled their eyes stating no love betwéen the hotel and bar. Keep in mind this is a very small property so why the disconnect when it comes to being helpful to the guests! That being said, the bar food was blah and the drinks are maybe 3 oz and $$$. They could update the TVs so they stream instead of only cable channels which was very limited. The location is great with lots of great places to eat and shop... don't be scared to go to the Webber Grill restaurant on the corner for happy hour! Excellent prices and delish ribs! I would not stay at this property again due to price, disconnect between the restaurant/bar staff and lack of amenities.

Best days are behind. The area is deteriorating. The "Casino" added a lot of people I have not seen before... The room was a dungeon. The shower needs some TLC. The bar is wonderful and the bartender is perfect.

I liked the environment inside the Hotel, the service was easy. The room was complete with everything (shampoo, etc). However, if you want additional self-care, you can ask and they can help you. The bar in the lobby is great, if you don't want to go far from your hotel, the bar is the best option where you can spend time with your friends. I really loved the place and in my next visit I would like to stay again there.
