great place to stay in Chichester for a short break if yoh don't mind a short (30 mins) walk to the city centre

Nice soft comfortable bed, room was a bit well worn. Nice to be able to open the window though some cigarette smoke did drift up. Pretty garden and location was good. Staff were very nice and helpful.

An excellent overnight

Very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. Clean and well appointed. Soft bed but didn't affect sleep. Ate in the restaurant and it was excellent food and competing very well with the Harvester next door. Pool looked great but sadly had shut as we were a little later than planned arriving.

Great location, comfortable & friendly.

An overnight stay for business. Greeted by friendly reception and easy access to rooms and parking. Memory foam mattress, strong free wifi and good phone signal. The room decor is a bit tired and needs a refresh, but everything you need is there, clean and comfortable. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but I will next time I visit for sure! Breakfast was speedy, with good coffee and tasty food. Simple and straightforward, with lots of staff on hand to help. Will book again.

Good location for what I wanted. Easy to find. Comfortable enough but there was no fan for the hot night. I did not like it that the front door was locked late at night, without any way of getting in. This was not explained to me at check-in.

Would stay again!

Booked a night here as a treat for my 12 year old daughter and I. Room was very nice and bed super comfortable. Decor a little dated but very clean. We loved using the pool and jacuzzi. Reception staff very helpful.

Disappointing stay

Very disappointing. The bathroom was dirty with hair around the sink and in the bath. Woken at 3am by guests in the garden drinking and talking with no regard for anyone else.

I only stayed for one night but my stay was great. The hotel is well located for Cichester (25 minute walk maximum or 5 minute drive) Every member of staff that i spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived very early for chek-in and the front of house very very kindly allowed me to check-in super early without additional cost (thank you again) My room was large, and very clean (133) and it had all the facilities you could wish for on an overnight stay. Usb wall sockets were a nice touch seeing that my phone charger waa 300 miles away. Spa facilities were great and everything was working which was a bonus. I ate in the bar area as opposed to the restaurant and the food was ok. Fish and chios arrived pretty much as they do and as you would expect in a Wetherspoons.... nothing to write home about but drfinitely nothing to complain about. Overall I wss very satisfied with the hotel and I would recommend staying there.

Would not stay again, the hotel desperately needs renovation. Room was in very poor condition, water stains on ceiling, terribly creaky floorboards, broken pedal bin in bathroom, bath has lots of chipped enamel. Only one pillow per person. Not enough towels. We were also only allowed to have one key between two of us.
