I booked this room for my sister and brother in law. The staff was rude and amoral by charging them two stays and not reimburse them the money. They had to leave do to an emergency. This place is horrible and staff is unprofessional, we will do a complaint to the BBB.

The staff was great place was clean. The negative feedback is that the rooms are very out dated. The wall are thin you can hear everything from other people rooms and throughout the hall. A lot of homeless hanging out in the parking lot.

The property was decent, check in staff was helpful and friendly. It was convenient, reasonably priced, comfy beds, and a great free breakfast. Downsides were noise at night , older building so I could hear every door close . In addition I’d suggest they have the police do a loop thru there at night or get security to patrol, the location is tucked in a corner and the parking lot seems to have a lot of activity . I can handle myself but it did make me a little uncomfortable and worried for my car.

I have stayed here many times. It is located perfectly for getting around town. Staff has always been attentive and available. Rooms are well appointed but the bathrooms only have tub/showers. Most of this hotels competitors have walk in showers. This is always a point of contention with older guests. In my last few stays the hotel apparently has a contract with highway construction companies and a vast number of the quests are workers with many heavy duty trucks and equipment in the parking lot which can be tricky at the end of the work day and in the early morning. The breakfast room was filled to capacity with workers on their way to work. Note; the breakfast offerings were very good with nice hot and cold choices.

I will never in my life stay here again. The front desk was unbelievably rude. Not sure what her problem was, then she had the nerve to give me a nasty look when I walked out to get something out of my car. Good grief, if you’re that miserable just quit. I travel to Chico every week for business, and I learned my lesson at this place, to never book again. The room was filthy, blood on lamp shades, screen on window about a cm from falling off, dirty carpets, hard as rock bed. It says free WiFi, but nobody gave me access, it’s a seedy area. All night I hoped nobody broke into my car or my room. TV had 8 channels, the roof leaked, my room door had to be slammed to shut to close. I could go on and on. $110 a night is absurd!

We arrived after dark, and we were unable to find the entrance, since it was not very well lit. Check in was easy, during which I asked, what are the hours for the pool were. They let us know the pool was closed for the season, but this was not advertised on the website or the hotel posting, it’s also lost us access to the hot tub. After a long drive, my partner, and I both needed a shower, the hot water was not working which they had not let us know during check-in. Thankfully, after calling the front, they let us know that their boiler had been worked on that day, with no estimate on when it may be working again. The hot water thankfully turned back on the next day, but we had chosen this hotel because it did have a pool and a hot tub, we had considered other locations nearby that also had access to a pool, which also may have been cheaper, but we went with best Western, because we figured it was a reputable establishment. The room was very nice, the bed did hurt my back quite a bit, and the water pressure was nice once the hot water started working. The included free breakfast was decent. Overall, I do feel misled by the listing, the amenities mentioned, were all fairly underwhelming or completely unavailable.

Good location with great parking. Had a issue with hot water. It would be what I call a welcoming hotel, very utilitarian. It is a place to stay! Clean and quiet. The breakfast is sad, they don't an effort. I dont even understand why these typs of place pretend to care about breakfast. Also the coffee was bad.

The property was clean but noise. The freeway is literally right outside the place. Also, the next door guest we’re having a party or something because they were screaming, laughing, and playing load music. It was reported but they continued. We weren’t able to rest the night we stayed in that place. Breakfast was good!

Room was surprisingly spacious. The first floor was a bit loud with screaming kids - but was during afternoon not evening. Be nice if public TVs had captions on for deaf and hard of hearing & ESL guests.

The batteries in the key reader died.
When we were assigned our first room, we entered the room and found maintenance in the room caulking around the bathtub, had to go downstairs for a new room assignment and recode keys. Our second night when we returned after several in and outs from touring and walking our dogs we couldn't unlock the door. I took 3 trips downstairs to have them recode the key, 4th time I had my husband go downstairs, front desk assumed we were doing something wrong, which I found very insulting. Once they came up and used our 2 card keys and 3 master keys and they couldn't unlock it either, the battery must be dead. We waited in the lobby then outside until maintenace arrived to replace the batteries in the lock. Unfortunately we couldn't leave to do anything because we had left everything in the room while giving walking the dogs. Maintence was able to let us in while he fixed the card reader. Everyone was fast about fixing things and was apologized to about stating we didn't know how to use the card reader and did get 10% back for each night.
