"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. Evening meal and service in bar were also good, even though it was a busy evening. We would definitely return to the Red Lion when we are in Fareham in future."

"The staff were lovely. That is the big point. Also having the soft play and bar next door. Food was great. The place and rooms were just tired and dated. Everything creaked. The bed was quite uncomfortable. I liked the size of the room though. 2 singles and a double. Worked great for me and my 2 kids. Liked the fact parking was free. Probably won’t be back as it was quite expensive for the state of the place."
