This was our second stay. Enjoyed it very much. Well worth a visit, even if only for dinner, when in the area.

It is a very unique place. I would strongly recommend staying in this hotel. Keep in mind dining room is open from Thursday-Sunday. Excellent food. Staff was so friendly. Roo was so clean, and a lot of history in the 100 year old building. Awesome place!

This is a lovely old Florida hotel. We really enjoyed the grounds and the peacocks. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and beautifully decorated.

What a wonderful place to stay

What a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and loved loved loved our room. It is very different staying in a building from the 1900s compared to a modern day hotel. But we will definitely be back!

The Putnam Lodge was an amazing and relaxing stay. The staff was really helpful and very friendly. The restaurant was excellent, the prime rib was perfect and the service was tops. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Brilliant independent hotel in small town USA. Fantastic bar and staff. Not like a chain hotel. Beautiful gardens. Great spot if road tripping along 98.

Really enjoyed the stay! Older, but nicely restored building with great character and history. We had a few excellent meals with friendly service and a well-stocked bar. Room was clean and the staff was great. Thanks to everyone!

Great History

It is a beautifully restored historic building. Great piece of history in North Florida. The host was very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a place worth a visit.

Nice place

The staff was great! The restaurant food was fantastic! The rooms are nice. I didn't see the spa nor use the bar. Free wifi and direct TV. We had a good time.

The restaurant was excellent. Great food, great music, great drinks, reasonable prices. Room was very cold with no way to control temp. Breakfast was minimal, but adequate for us.

This is an older hotel that has a very interesting history. It’s worth the time to enjoy the artwork found throughout the lodge. Everyone on staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful and we found the other people who stayed there to be delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable! The only complaint I had was there was music playing at least until 11:00 pm. It then resumed early the next morning. I think it was coming from their beautiful back courtyard?

We enjoyed the old-town feel of the lodge, various antiques, and furnishings.It was very clean. I requested a hair dryer and it was provided immediately. My only suggestion would be to refresh the breakfast and snack area. From Friday night check-in to Sunday morning, nothing new was added and nothing replaced. We would stay here again. Also enjoyed the casual seating areas outside, watched peacocks, Guinea hens, cats, squirrels.
