"Husband and I had a pleasant stay at chachagua. We arrived late at night and was greeted at the front desk with hand towels and fruit juice. Checking in was smooth and we were escorted to our bungalow (make sure to have a high car as you will drive through a low river).
Bungalow was private and very clean. The room was cleaned daily and there was eco friendly hair products and toiletries. Room has a mini fridge, coffee maker and fresh water daily.
Continental breakfast was amazing - at a restaurant on premises. Great selection!
The springs were great- wasn’t a lot of people and we were able to enjoy it solo.
The resort was beautiful and tranquil. You can hear the animals throughout the day esp the monkeys in the morning. We didnt get to see the monkey but we did see a sloth up in the tree- thanks to Ruben (who btw gave a great coffee/ chocolate tour).
Big thank you to all the staff members- from the gentleman who greets you when entering, front desk staff, house keeping, and restaurant waiters/waitresses. All very pleasant and super helpful when we had any questions or concerns.

"Beautiful property. Is it a 5 star resort no but for the area and country it was. It provided my daughter and I a wonderful place to stay, feel safe, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica.
There was maintenance going on but nothing that dampened our experience. They are expanding and thats great. All the workers were friendly and ecen when they were doing landsacaping they never came to our lodge when we were home so there was no feeling of our privacy being invaded.
The staff was friendly and helped with suggestions of places to go. They provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our trip."

"We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend staying here, this was our second time and both rooms were great! Ohh. And there are fireflies there in June!! "
