"The staff are very polite and accommodating. My safari adventures were well run and the naturalist (Nabin) was so knowledgeable that I even got to spot a tiger! Not many people get to see one. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in one of the well appointed safari tents overlooking the national park. We could even hear a rhino at night munching away under our tent! "

"We had quite a bad experience staying three nights at the Jungle Villa Resort. At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful. A large number of bad experiences with management was part of ruining the trip for us; incompetent and untrustworthy, lacking understanding of their guests. "Property looks very good. Very basic room and it was suffocating as the room had some smell. Maybe it was a very basic room as we saw there were other good rooms too. Ours was a very bad one and was a very bad experience."

"The staff are amazing. Whether that’s the guides, or the restaurant staff, everyone is lovely. It’s a much quieter area than staying in Sauraha, which is one of the reasons we picked it. We also picked it as it has a much better reputation for how it keeps its elephants compared to most lodges and was one of the the first to ban tourists riding them which I liked. The safari experience was epic, saw tonnes of rhino, as well as gaur and birdlife. We also heard tigers. The lodge gardens are full of birds. The lodge rooms are clean but quite basic. I do think they need a bit of an investment upgrade - eg painting a H in tippex on the hot tap isn’t really what you expect given the cost. There was also a bit of noise on the second night, but minimal compared to what we’d had in the rest of Nepal. The stay is inclusive of all meals, all drinks (except filtered water) are extra, the food was pretty decent. Great place "

"This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredible—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was nearly perfect, with the only issue being the water pressure in the shower, which could use improvement. The kitchen staff stood out for their kindness and assistance, especially Hitlar and Rohit, who were exceptionally sweet. However, I would suggest the chef pay more attention to the momo, as the dough was too stiff, and the filling lacked juiciness. That said, the mutton curry was an absolute 10/10! Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the team—they are warm, helpful, and truly caring. Although small mistakes occurred, they weren’t a big deal, and I believe they can improve even further. Their thoughtfulness shone through when they arranged taxi pickups for us and helped with booking transport during a natural disaster. I am genuinely grateful for their outstanding hospitality. Thank you!"
