Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rochester-Pittsford/Brighton, NY
8/10 Good
"Especially if you have a student that attends Nazareth University, the hotel is less 15 min from Rochester Airport and less than 10 min from campus. Many food places to eat. Gas station right across the street. Less than 5 min from Highway for other local things to do.
Breakfast is the same but they serve everyday.
Staff is friendly. They do have a mini mart."
"I booked an accessible room but my room didn’t seem accessible. The door didn’t have a lower peephole. The bathroom mirror was so high I couldn’t see in it, the hand soap was so high on the wall I couldn’t reach it (good thing I bring my own soap) and the beds were a little high too. If I was staying longer than one night I would’ve requested a different room. And the bathroom doors don't lock, they are a sliding barn door. That’s weird a bathroom door should lock!"
"the hotel was apparently going under a remodel- the in room phone didn't work and TV kept going out. You kept having to unplug it and then re-plug it in.
The cleaning of the room was subpar. We never got clean towels and washcloths and had to reuse dirty, wet ones. When the coffee was restocked, they didn't clean out used wet coffee pod and just left it in the machine. Very disappointing stay."
"Reserved a double and room only had one bed. We went down to ask for extra blankets and pillows and were told sorry we are sold out. No toilet paper. Pretty bad experience"
"Best staff ever, super friendly, I booked two rooms and without me even asking they booked me two rooms next door to each other. 24 hour fresh coffee available for free in the lobby with a mini store if you need to purchase anything in the middle of the night, everything was spotless and I mean spotless! The hotel is pet friendly so keep that in mind, we love pets so it didn’t bother us at all, free parking and great location with easy access to every road we needed. We enjoyed the hotel."
"There was no housekeeping services. They had covered parking. There was trash in the hallways. Breakfast was offered between 6 and 10 AM but if you came after 8:45 AM, the pancakes were hard, the eggs were stuck to the bottom of the pan, sausage was dried out, the yogurt was non existent and decaf coffee was not available."
