"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "The Oratory is a quaint beautifully presented property ideal for easy access to the moors and all the excellent local walks. Princetown has two excellent pubs within easy walking distance of The Oratory serving good food. Highly recommend a stay here. I will be back"

A great place to stay!

"Very impressed with the accommodation, was expecting a family room but we were provided with an appartment that was spacious and comfortable for our short stay. Also did not realise the reasonable cost included access to the spa and pool which were fantastic. The spa had lots to do including 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms, various cold shower settings and a caribean storm shower?! We were also pleasently surprised by the gym which was well kitted out and felt new. The staff were all very friendly and the food was decent too. "

"The staff were very welcoming on arrival. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had a bath / Shower. Parking was available at the rear of the property. As the hotel is situated near the Hoe we did not need to use our car during the stay as we could walk or uber to everywhere we needed to visit."
