"Rooms were clean but outdated. "

"We were there visiting grandkids. It was roomy, comfortable & well-equipped. Set-up worked well bc my husband has sleeping issues due to a medical condition so having the 1-bedroom made it possible for me to get some rest while he was trying to settle in at night. The area is good also for walking our dog--very safe neighborhood. "

"Check-in was terrible. Clerk was behind glass partition and made little effort to properly communicate. The room had no Wifi, no microwave, no WORKING refrigerator, no hair dryer. The bathroom door had been beat in and was repaired in the most bizarre way, instead of being replaced. I don't recommend this hotel - room was still almost $100/night."

"There was clearly some sort of kid party happening at the pool. There were at least 100 kids in the tiny pool, easily over max capacity. The water was murky and it was so loud that if you wanted to say something to the person next to you, you’d have to yell for them to be able to hear you. I’m not overly sensitive to noise but I’m pretty sure the few moments I spent in the pool area caused hearing loss. I’ve been to rock concerts that were quieter. And the hotel staff just let it happen. I had to ask to have the room cleaned again once we got checked in because it was dusty The front desk staff seemed very unprofessional, maybe I just caught her on a bad day but I smiled, was kind and pleasant and she was extremely rude. And I was just checking in! I wasn’t complaining or asking for anything. Then the parking situation, well that was a joke. They have about 50 spots in their garage which of course were full so we had to park in a neighboring garage and pay their prices and walk all the way over. Walnut Creek is a nice area, there is no reason for this hotel to be so trashy. And it’s literally trashy! When we checked in there were people (guests?) eating out front and the next day when we checked out their food and drink containers were still sitting in the ground and in the bushes. No one bothered to throw them away. It was flat out gross. "

"Adequate is an exaggeration. They charged over $100 for "holding the room" on the day after i checked in. In other words they stole it. No "maid" service unless i specificall ask for it in advance. I got no prior notice that this is a construction site. Big mistake."
