Nearby tanjong pagar with wide array of food to eat, especially Japanese and Korean. Hotel a little dated and bed a little too springy for my liking.

There was mould up the top of the room. Tge aircon was broken. Had a technician come in and try fix it only to be told that the controller was broken nothing he can do other than go in the vent and tweek it. So if we need to change the temperature we need to contact him. Asked for a room change due to the issue. Only to be change to another room with the same issue. Dissappointed as its rated as a 4 star hotel...

Friendly staff Good location Bed was rock hard, after talking to counter staff they fitted a mattress cover that was lumpy and had rock hard balls of fibre in it - must have been very old - didn’t have a decent sleep for the 3 nights we were there. With a decent bed I’d recommend the Amara but without one I can’t.

Great hotel

Only stayed one night wish it was longer my Mom lost her jacket in lobby staff found it & retuned it

My stay at Amara was fantastic. The front desk staff were polite and efficient. I like it most when there's initiative. When i asked for late check out , they were polite and didn't make things difficult for me. Excellent! Keep up the good work attitude. Cheers!

Great hotel with lovely spacious bedrooms and nice toiletries. 1117 needs some refurbishment to bring it into line with the smart decor of the public rooms. Delicious breakfast available until 10.30.

The room was a good size for the price and had a great view. Staff were friendly for the most part. But when I printed a couple documents (3) from the business center, the lady who helped me said she wouldn’t charge me. When I checked out, a different lady told me I was in fact going to be charged. And it was $7 Singapore dollars. Pretty expensive for three pieces of paper
