This hotel has been thoughtfully updated, and our room was comfortably planned and furnished. The simple breakfast was surprisingly varied, considering the size of the hotel, and the staff were friendly and very supportive. The hotel is close to the entrance to the National Wildlife Refuge, and has the Museum of Chincoteague Island on one side, and the Blackfin restaurant on the other. I’m almost cringing at the thought of others being there when we want to go …. but they deserve all the credit I have given them.

Kendrick at the front desk is a genuinely warm, welcoming, and gracious host. He gave us a list of nearby restaurants and amenities and was just such a pleasure to do business with! The rooms were clean and well maintained. There seemed to be a drainage issue as both the sink and tub were slow to drain, but I forgot to mention it to him. The hotel is walking distance from most of the things you'll want to do and is just a short <5 minute drive to the lighthouse and trails on Assateague. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I can't speak highly enough of the staff. Great place to enjoy all the islands have to offer! You can even feed the ponies right across the street.

We can't say enough about our stay. Clean rooms, private balcony, yummy breakfast, close proximity to the beach, incredibly friendly staff, and ample parking. We are already looking forward to next year's stay!

Very kind and helpful staff. We interacted with 3 at the desk and 1 lady for breakfast. One desk staff immediately left to help fill up our shampoo bottles which was shockingly personal helpful service! We rarely stay in hotels were you can park right outside our first floor room door, but we found it extremely convenient for beach gear and will ask for it next time. The 2nd and 3rd floor get better views, but the first floor was much better for regular needs. The breakfast highlights were omlettes and a meat, awesome vogurt machine and toppings, and a full coffee station ( 24/7).

The cleanliness of the entire property stands out head and shoulders from most all other places. Coupled this with the friendly professional staff and. You will never stay anywhere else. Manager at front was more than polite, understanding and helpful.

We had a great stay at Spark in Chincoteague. We used to stay here years ago when it was the former Driftwood Motor Lodge / Driftwood Inn. The upgrades are great. Enjoyed the breakfast. Outdoor seating g area by front entrance is lovely. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and great shower! All around 5-star for this type of hotel.

This was the cleanest and nicest hotel I've stayed in. The layout of the room was fantastic for families. 2 beds in one room and one bed in the other and each had a bathroom with a shower. Everything was nice and clean and I would definitely stay here again.
