"There was a problem with the WIFI, and I couldn’t connect it to my laptop. I was told it was an issue they were already aware of. I couldn’t even use my mobile data because there was no signal inside the hotel. If I had known this before, I wouldn’t have booked my stay there, as I was travelling for work and needed to use my laptop. Fortunately, after some time I managed to connect to the WIFI, although I’m not sure how.... The rest was okay, not perfect, but for the price and the location I think it was fair."

"The room was extremely clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Bar and dining area clean and tidy with lots of cosy corners to hide in! Would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we return to Bristol!"

"I chose to stay here after seeing the images of a pool and spa facilities. However, it was disappointing to find that after paying for my stay, which can be well over £200 a night here, you still have to pay £10 to use the pool. That just seems really tight to me."

"Impressive facilities, decent restaurant serving very good meals, buffet breakfast was of good quality with plenty of options. Some minor decor and cleanliness issues in the en-suite."

"The hotel is on a motorway service station, and although the windows were closed you could hear the refrigerator trucks all night long. The room had no heating that worked so was freezing all night."

"Lovely place. Bit of a trek from the recommended carpark I would imagine for older or disabled people. I found it a nice walk. Lovely hotel, room and staff with a great breakfast"

"Great location for visiting Bristol. Hotel a little run down. Staff friendly and enthusiastic but a little bit inept. Over complex air con and heating system a particular issue. "
