"No wi-fi and no tv were two of the main perks. The dark skies and end of the road location were the main attraction. The nearby hiking trails and endless beauty were the surprise. The desert had just had rain so it was blooming everywhere (luck, not good timing) which added to the awe. The room was dated but clean and neat. Only disappointment was that the restaurant was being remodeled so the option was a food truck. AS someone who has lived nearly 40 years in Texas, I was surprised and...

"Our room at Big Bend station was greatly enjoyed, but there were a few odd things about it such as that the sheets smelled like mildew and there was something that looked a lot like blood smeared near the top of the door frame in the bathroom. There was also a small hole in the wall of the bathroom which was odd. But overall it was a good room, the check-in was easy even though we got there very late (they had a envelope with our key waiting), the staff was friendly, the location was wonderful, and the ac and water worked. We did have to ask for extra towels and there was no housekeeping while we were there"
"I know everything says excellent but thats because everything IS excellent. The pictures just dont do this casita justice. This vacay has been easy and relaxing. Doesnt even matter that its gotten up to 113 degrees because we are close to everything and this room is perfect. Spacious. Goos suzed mini fridge and microw. The coffee maker takes kcups and coffee creamer and sugars are provided. The bathroom is lovely. The shower is huge. There is a table that seats 4 and a huge comfy couch too. Plenty of room if we had 4 people and needed to make the sofa bed too. Private porch. Its (I'll go ahead and say it) Just darling."
"My son and I stayed here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The pool is open 24 hours and was beautifully refreshing in the desert heat. Highly recommend this place. They are great staff and care so much about protecting the environment of Big Bend region. 10/10"
"Everything was just as advertised, very clean with everything we needed. Printed list for everything we needed. Including restaurant recommendation which was spot on."
"The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. "
