Learn more about Cholpon-Ata

Ancient petroglyphs at the open-air museum tell stories of nomadic life dating back thousands of years. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Issyk-Kul or join locals for horseback riding through the surrounding alpine meadows.

Just amazing ! Some of these petroglyphs date from the Bronze Age (about 1500 BC), but most ... lived in the settlements that are currently underwater in the Cholpon-Ata bay, Kyrgyzstan. Join my nex photo tour in June 2020.
