Great motel

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Friendly staff. Excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities. The only (tiny) issue is that it's very hard to turn right out onto Riccarton Rd (ie towards the city). We had to turn left then find a nearby street to turn around.

SCAM ALERT - NOT RECOMMENDED

Extremely disappointed with my experience here. I booked and fully paid for a room, only to arrive and be told my booking was not in their system. Despite showing my confirmation, the staff insisted they had no available rooms and offered no solution, leaving me stranded and scrambling for last-minute accommodation. To make matters worse, when I later reported this case to booking platform, they claimed they had reached out to the motel to request a refund, but the motel refused. This completely contradicts what the staff told me on the night—that the booking or payment never reached them. So, either the motel misled me at check-in, or they are now refusing to take responsibility. Would not recommend. Avoid this place at all costs.
