Vivienne and George made our stay very enjoyable, and we were able to stay in the lodge without any issues. All the facilities were excellent, and the bed extremely comfortable. Heaters were available when the weather turned colder. After staying 11nights we were sorry to have to leave for our next destination.

Pleasant stay

Comfortable and clean place to stay. Very friendly staff. Suited our requirements for a short holiday to Christchurch. I would return to this motel in the future if and when i visit Christchurch again.

If you are looking for a posh motel this is not it but the room was clean and had everything I needed i was in there cheaper room$65 a night it was great value the bed was nice comfortable will definitely stay again.

The owners were good at communication and friendly in their txt messages. The place was clean and tidy. However: This property is very dated, with old chipped bedroom cabinets, stained basin and an incredibly uncomfortable, saggy bed which the springs could be felt through. If I’d been planning on more than one night, I’d have checked out and moved elsewhere.

The unit was very comfortable but sadly not as clean as we would have liked eg. Mould around all the aluminium joinery, mouldy dirty shower and although the toilet had a ‘clean wrapper’ on it, it wasn’t clean 🙁

I had been here before. About a year ago. At the time I thought that the staff were very capable, and they still are, as well as motivated to make my stay comfortable. The property is a short distance from the Centre of Christchurch, and not very far, about 15 minutes by taxi, to the airport. Last year I explained that their were still some repairs needed due to the earthquake. These seem to have been addressed. All the appliances worked well. The Warehouse (Supermarket etc.,) is across the road. There are no doubt many fine hotel's etc., in Christchurch, but none at even close to the value for money. Parking outside your room.

南岛游住的最差的地方。胜在位置方便。房间很冷，只有一台小功率的电暖器，没有热风空调，床上也没有电热毯，这是唯一一家没有电热毯的motel，员工也根本没有预热房间，寒冷和冬天，感觉非常不好。这么冷的房间。冲凉小心感冒。
