Beautiful and interesting historic building to stay in, very well equipped with full kitchenette and in room laundry - perfect to relax in after two long haul flights. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff were kind enough to leave a card and gift in the room. Great location in a very walkable city.

Perfect location for exploring Christchurch. This is an ex Government building that has a lot of character and good facilities. The suite was spacious and had all the necessities. Would recommend and would return if we ever get back to Christchurch.

Lovely, very grand hotel, a bit dated and shabby in the room but spacious and very comfortable beds. Loved the pool, spa and sauna, we used them daily. Great central location
