10/10 Excellent

"Had a wonderful experience with my girlfriend at Golden Sun. Everything from the welcoming doorman to the friendly front desk got things off on the right footing. They even provided a single rose for International Women's Day. The room is clean with excellent lighting. Love the small balcony with doors that open up so we could get some of that fresh Mang Den mountain air. The amenities are some of the best. Kudos on the quality toothbrush and the toothpaste which is severely lacking at most other even higher star hotels. One minor issue was that there was a humming noise somewhere around our room that lasted all night long into the morning that woke us up at times. We couldn't quiet figure out what it was, although one of the hosts said it could be a water pump. Anyways, it's a small inconvenience. If they can fix that, the stay will have been perfect. "

"Staff was okay. Definitely nothing special compared to other Vietnam stays I had. The venue is in a great location and main central to all. However, room is a bit old, dated and we got the KING ROOM - it's the living room one - and it was definitely a bit old and not clean. Sheets came very dirty and we asked for new sheets. They were nice when we were sick and gave us food to our room - a very nice gesture. "

"Staff wrongfully accused us of stealing a hair dryer without checking. Assuming is not a good way to run business, but facts and evidence does. Do not even think about accusing people unless you have grounds. Lucky that we already checked out before this happened. When family member came to pick up the bike, he was given an inconvenience, staff locked up his bike and was forced to wait. We will never stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it due to incompetent staff. To the owner, you will go bankrupt if the car keeps going without a driver. Don’t drive blind and hire competent representatives. "
