"Nice stay - I always stay there when I’m in the area for work, and occasionally when visiting family. Location is convenient, quiet, clean and great views of town and the harbour. Room was a bit too warm and stuffy for my taste and didn’t seem to be able to regulate totally. Also, didn’t appreciate having housekeeping knock on my door a minute or 2 past 11. "

"Room was not clean. Floors were dirty. Main lobby was closed. Had to call a number to talk to someone to deliver towels. Staff only available at a certain time as they worked another job during the night. No breakfast available as was stated on the Expedia website. Unfortunately, I will not rebook this property. Disappointed as I stayed last summer and it was very nice. "

"ceiling falling apart and covered in water stains, bedsheets had mysterious splatter spots (think, projectile sneeze while eating gravy), no internet/wifi despite stating there was, office offered no help and was quite rude throughout the entire experience. TV had very few available channels, wood paneling behind bed was coming apart and had gaps, no staff on site. "

"The motel itself is cheap and cheerful, but the people who own/run it are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was outstanding - one of the few places in Nova Scotia you can see a sunset over the ocean!!"
