"The room was great - spacious and clean!
There were always parking spots available.
The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety.
They also have a free 24/7 coffee station (sadly 2 of the coffee pots and the hot chocolate was missing upon check-out. Not sure if this is planned or was just a coincidence).
My daughter got sick twice while in bed! We had to ask for clean sheets a couple of times and the staff were happy to help!
The staff were wonderful overall!
The laundry facilities were a bit pricey, but efficient and very convenient in case of emergency.
The pool was fun, BUT it would have been nicer if it was a little warmer (we went in the winter). The hot tub was too hot - I tried to get in, but could only bare it for a moment.
The hotel was easy to find and check-in and check-out was smooth.
I would recommend staying here and would go back. :) "
Holiday Inn Express Rochester - University Area by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Nice room, staff very helpful and friendly. Only issue I had was it had snowed and noone had cleaned off the walkway to the parking lot. Very slippery if you weren't careful, plus about 2" of snow on it."
Comfort Suites Rochester Henrietta University Area
10/10 Excellent
"My only complaint is that the furnishings look a bit worn and old fashioned -- but overall, I liked the property and I would stay there again. I felt safe at all times, staff was respectful and helpful, good wi-fi, nice indoor pool, free breakfast with many choices, convenient parking. My room and the common areas were very clean. Location is convenient to expressway and East Henrietta Road, West Henrietta Road and Jefferson Road, where there are many stores and restaurants. "
The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa - DoubleTree by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, staff are amazing, bar is excellent. They are currently renovating the building, so some of the main entrances are closed and the elevators are always full. "
"With it only bring $97 on NYE I thought it would be a substandard stay. To my surprise it was wonderful! Very clean and comfortable. Didn't have that "yuck" smell in the elevator or hallways. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend!!"
