"Simple hotel. Bed, aircon below average. Powerpoints are scarce, no bottled water, no coffee making facilities, no facial tissues. Reception ladies are helpful. Position is excellent. Art Museum Opera & Ballet (free performance last Sunday night - very good!) and beach. I guess hence the high price."

"This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. "This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. I do like it a lot, it is clean, friendly and food is great. There were a few niggles during the storm, room was cold and aircon did not work on heating settings, but they brought in an electric heater (which did not work), one day the water was not warm enough but as soon as I contacted the reception, it was addressed. Overall, I like they are proactive and apologetic, I will definitely book it again."

From the outside it looks like any other regular apartment complex, however, once you walk in, it is designed with luxury and finesse in mind. "Very nice boutique hotel BUT doesn't have elevator and phone to call front desk, I have to go down like 3 times to let them know things or to get some towels. Is not coffee at the room, you have to go down ordered and pay for it!! "
