"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

"Great hotel. Really clean, excellent staff and a wonderful room (classed as a superior room). Be aware there is no onsite parking but the team will point to local overnight parking, if a place on the street isnโ€™t available. Despite this, definitely a visit again."

"I was hesitant to book The Swan because some reviews said the rooms were tired, but I thought the hotel was very well maintained, had charm and well decorated. The building is old, so not everything is perfect, but thatโ€™s the beauty of it! The location is fantastic, and itโ€™s great being able to park. Food was good, too. Would definitely recommend!"
